SOSi Selected by United States Central Command for Facilities Management and Maintenance Support Services Contract

RESTON, Va. (May 22, 2017) – SOS International LLC (SOSi) announced today its award of a five-year, $17 million contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide Facilities Management and Maintenance Support Services to the United States Central Command (CENTCOM). Work will be performed at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, and MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.

SOSi will provide long-range logistics and asset management, lodging management and billeting, facilities maintenance and repair services, engineering services and project management, emergency response planning and facilities help desk support.

The CENTCOM program will be overseen by Lieutenant General (U.S. Army Ret) Frank Helmick, former commander of XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, N.C. and current SOSi Senior Vice President for Mission Solutions, and Major General (U.S. Army Ret) Ken Dowd, former Director of Logistics at CENTCOM and Director of Operations at the Defense Logistics Agency.
