SOSi Executive Ken Dowd Helps Troops Celebrate Independence Day Overseas

To help deployed service men and women serving overseas celebrate this July 4th, Ken Dowd, former Army General and current Business Development executive for SOSi; worked with Pizza 4 Patriots. The non-profit organization’s mission is to deliver fresh pizza to U.S. troops serving overseas.

Over the holiday weekend, Pizza 4 Patriots, DHL Express and Rich Productions Corporation reached nearly 10,000 service members with a reminder of home. A special delivery of 5,500 pizzas to troops located in the furthest operating bases in Afghanistan, as well as Kuwait, honored their service and sacrifice on this important day.

Before joining SOSi, Ken Dowd served 35 years in the U.S. Army, including as Director of Operations for the Defense Logistics Agency and Theater Commander for the Middle East area of operations. To help promote the event, Dowd was interviewed by FOX News, CBS Inside Edition and the Associated Press.
